If your answer is yes to any of the following questions, you have just found your solution!

Are you one of the growing number of doctors who would like to see more resources available for your patients to support them in changing their diet?

Has your doctor told you to change your diet to prevent or reverse chronic illness?

Do you know someone who has not received all the needed outcomes with pharmaceutical products?

Our mission at Hippocrates Table is to be the resource for doctors and their patients’ in implementing Hippocrates’ edict “Let Food Be Thy Medicine”.

We focus on scientific, medical, peer-reviewed, unbiased, cutting-edge research as evidence demonstrating the healing power of food. We offer support for physicians and practitioners interested in the emergent data demonstrating the benefits of food as medicine — particularly as it impacts the prevention and/or reversal of chronic disease.

Hippocrates Table currently offers a plant-based prepared whole foods program in North East Ohio, and Colorado’s Roaring Fork Valley between Aspen and Glenwood Springs. For details, visit our 28 Day Reset Page.

Our 28-day food program is based on the powerful success of Dr. Greg Feinsinger, a Colorado physician who was inspired by advanced nutritional research to try a plant-based diet himself. Within one month, he was able to stop taking medications for pre-diabetes and hypertension, and cut his cholesterol medication in half.

Dr. Feinsinger began offering the same program to his patients, and partnered in 2014 with Hippocrates Table to expand and enhance the 28-day food program. Together we offer not only whole, nutritious meals, but all the education and support our clients need to completely shift their lifestyles for their fullest, healthiest and happiest lives.

“The reason you don’t wait until you have heart disease to eat this way is often, sadly, the first symptom of your heart disease may be your sudden death.” –Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn, author of Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease – the book that inspired millions of people to change their lives.

A plant-based, whole foods lifestyle is an evidence-based solution to an epidemic of chronic disease that is not only creating great pain and suffering in the U.S., but is also poised to bankrupt our economy. According to data confirmed by studies in the public and private sectors, 50% of Americans are either diabetic or pre-diabetic. Just this one, single disease is a $322 billion / year problem! And growing.

Improvements in a number of chronic conditions are being linked by new research to whole-food plant-based diets, including inflammation, obesity and certain types of cancer. For reviews information and statistics, visit our Research Page.

Plant-based diets are engaging U.S. contemporary culture across the board—from athletes who swear by its boost to their endurance, to Silicon Valley investors who recognize emerging financial trends. Whether you join us as a physician or a patient, a practitioner or someone interested in recreating a new lifestyle for yourself or your family, Hippocrates Table welcomes you!
